I couldn’t agree with you, and Kahlil Gibran, more. Music is indeed magical. It soothes our turbulent minds and hearts. It envelopes us in beautiful colors and lifts our spirits. Truly listening (or playing some musical instrument) takes us to another place.
One day not to long ago I was in Wal-mart with my year and a half year old grandson. I was humming a song that was playing in the car ride over to Wal-mart and to my surprise I found my grandson doing his version of humming. I think the humming sent a feeling of joy to us both. Music is a great spirit lifting media.
So true. So many times, music has been the only thing that has really spoken to my soul.
