    Emily Dickinson wrote: “Hope is the thing with feathers / that perches in the soul / and sings the tune without the words / and never stops at all,” an image I find comforting. I admire Barbara Kingsolver’s books and this particular quote you cited – gifted writer and thinker. Thanks for calling attention to the ways we can visualize hope, Dorothy.
