Do You Buy Over-the-Counter Reading Glasses?
I don’t know about you but I go through reading glasses like they were….chocolate?! They break five minutes after I buy them. The frame bends, they break, I lose them (I realize no one can do anything about that!), the glass falls out of the frame, they just managed to disintegrate in one way or another. So when I was asked to try a complimentary pair of Borghese reading glasses from Icon Eyewear, I jumped at the opportunity. I am hooked!
Not only is the quality of the lens superior to anything I’ve purchased previously in clarity and evenness, the frame is sturdy, tight and dependable. They stay in place on top of my head when I’m not wearing them (most fall off) and yet they are comfortable to wear. I feel certain they will hold up under my careless use for some time, that is unless I lose them!
The pair I received sell for $15 retail, so they carry an affordable price tag. If you are in the market for reading glasses I highly recommend you check into Icon Eyewere. Here’s there website address: http://ieyeconeyewear.com If you do, let me know what you think. Dorothy
They have sunglasses too!
My dad buys eye glasses over the counter and he has more eyeglasses than he does pants I swear! I think it is more important to him to have plenty of eye glasses around as he loses them frequently. I will definitely check out the website you linked. Thanks! (I’ll also show my dad the website)
Like you, I go through them so quickly that I’ve started buying the three-pack but I find most of them uncomfortable and they definitely don’t sit on my head. I clicked on the link for these but don’t see anything about where to buy them – can we get them somewhere here in the Triangle?
